“Once The Sunset” is a fantasy horror animation steeped in Malaysian culture and local myths. It follows Aleesa, a young girl who gets lost in the woods at dusk. She encounters a mysterious woman who invites her home, only to reveal terrifying intentions. When all seems bleak, a guardian angel in the form of a shapeshifting white bird comes to her rescue, turning the tide against evil.
